When Joel Achenbach wrote about manfood a while back I remembered some essays that my husband, DBG, wrote a few years ago that he also titled, "Man Food." I finally found them on an old hard disk and have offered them for posterity.I hope you enjoy them... Man Food

My friend Cindy used to swipe purple pickled eggs out of the jar at this old man bar we used to frequent when we were underage. I think her record was 19 in one night without getting caught.
